At Chalfont Construction Limited, we’re always looking for ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability across our projects. Our latest investment in advanced surveying and excavation technology takes that commitment even further.

We’ve recently expanded our surveying and setting-out capability with additional Marxact equipment and the iDig Spotman Rover, giving our teams greater independence and flexibility in the field. These systems allow us to set out with exceptional precision and record accurate as-built data directly on-site, all of which can be shared in real time with our customers. This not only enhances collaboration but also ensures transparency and confidence at every stage of the project.

In addition, we’ve added iDig3 Project technology to our fleet of excavators. This innovation delivers significant improvements in both efficiency and accuracy, helping operators work with real-time depth and grade information directly from the cab. By eliminating the risk of over-excavation, we can reduce unnecessary spoil generation and optimise our cut-and-fill operations, particularly valuable in large-scale earthworks and road construction projects.

Together, these investments allow CCL to deliver projects that are smarter, faster, and more sustainable. By combining digital precision with hands-on expertise, we continue to set new standards for quality and performance in civil engineering.
