Our Services:
CDM
​
We have the expertise to operate as both Principal Contractor and Contractor under CDM 2015. We plan, manage, and monitor construction phases to minimise risks and ensure cooperation between contractors, and maintain a safe, secure site.

Civils​
​We are capable of carrying out a broad range of civils and RC works for clients in the renewable sector, including design and build of infrastructure for projects such as solar farms, BESS and wind farms.

Groundworks
​​We undertake all aspects of groundworks from site preparation to installation of access roads, compounds and services. We have built a strong reputation for delivering reliable groundwork solutions.​​​​
How We Work.
Use of technology
​
Most modern CAD uses World Coordinate System. Here at CCL, we can extract coordinates and load these into our MarXact setting out tools, ensuring accurate location of civils assets that protect the site layout, maximising the space available for PV panels or other equipment.

Testing
​
​We have invested in Lightweight Deflectometer (LWD) technology to provide assurance that our road and compound construction meets the loading requirements. We calibrate our LWDs against traditional CBR testing at a number of points during the works, and use the LWD to test at all stages of the road construction, giving our customers the confidence that access roads for heavy cranes and deliveries will be fit for purpose. We also regularly carry out material testing.

Assurance and Project Management
We have invested in Project Management Software produced by Fonn. This enables us to manage all drawings with associated programme and testing requirements and provide a real-tim window into progress of works and assurance record.

ISO accreditation
​
We are pleased to be on a journey towards ISO accreditation for the three major ISOs in our industry - 9001, 14001 and 45001. Not only do these ISOs give our customers confidence in our product and methods of working, having the systems behind these ISOs can reduce waste in our operations so we can give excellent value to our customers.

Health & Safety
​
We understand that keeping our site safe is fundamental to meeting programme. We ensure our workers have the proper competencies for their roles, and all work is governed by properly prepared Risk Assessments and Method statements. Site teams are briefed on these requirements, and we are glad to have had no reportable incidents in the last five years.​​​​
